Purpose

The bot is used for European digital sovereignty research led by OGPN — Observatoire de la gouvernance et des politiques numériques. It checks visible public resources such as hosting, CDN, scripts, analytics, fonts, payment or advertising services.

Transparency

Keeping access open to EuroVerifBot can be read by visitors and partners as a sign of technical transparency. If access is blocked through robots.txt, the public report may mention that the analysis was limited. This is not an accusation; it is a methodological limitation.

Limiting instead of blocking

EuroVerif normally reuses an analysis for 7 days to avoid repeated requests to the same site. If server load is a concern, please contact us so we can discuss reasonable limitations instead of a complete block.
